夏慕辰被老外Jack问及盛夏的身份的时候，眸子中闪过一丝的悲伤，不过他还是恢复了那个温润如玉的翩翩少年。
“No， She is a good friend of mine.（不是，她是我的一个好朋友。）”
夏慕辰说这话的时候，心里很疼，就像是一千根一万根针扎在自己的心上一样难受。
“Hello！Jack Smith. I'm called Midsummer. It's my pleasure to meet you.（你好！杰克?史密斯，我叫做盛夏，很高兴能够认识您。）”
“Oh， Midsummer， this is a very nice and beautiful name， and I'm glad to meet you.（哦！盛夏，这是一个非常好听且美丽的名字，我也很高兴能够认识你们。）”
夏慕辰见到盛夏和Jack相谈甚欢，心里面有一股浓浓的醋味，随后也说道：“Mr. Jack， how long will you be staying in the city?”
“ Three months， I'm here to work.（三个月，我是来这里工作的。）”
“Work? I don't know what you do. Would you mind telling us?（工作？不知道您是做什么的？你介意告诉我们吗？）”
“ I'm the chief of the “sparkling“ headquarters in the UK， and I was sent here as the editor of the sparkling magazine to put sparkle back in the first place！（我是英国“闪耀”总部的首席官，我被派到这里来当“闪耀”杂志社的主编，让“闪耀”重回第一的位置！）”
““Shining“ magazine， I see it every time， every magazine is very exquisite， beautiful， and very close to life.（“闪耀”的杂志，我每一期都有看，每本杂志都十分地精致、漂亮，而且很贴近生活。）”
盛夏听到“闪耀”杂志社的名字很激动，显然盛夏是“闪耀”杂志社的忠实粉丝。
Jack很开心的是，居然会在月落山碰到一个“闪耀”的粉丝。
“Thank you， Miss Sheng， for our “sparkling“ affirmation. I wonder what you think of our later magazines.（谢谢盛小姐对我们“闪耀”的肯定，不知道您对我们后面几期的杂志有什么看法呢？）”
“Really?... Can you speak it?（真的…可以说吗？）”盛夏有点儿犹豫不决地看着Jack。
“Of course.”
Jack温暖和煦的笑容让盛夏充满了信心，不过却也让盛夏身旁的夏慕辰看得十分地不爽。
早知道刚刚就不来这里和什么杂志社的主编打招呼了，现在倒好了，他的女孩儿完全没有理会他了，反而和什么Jack的聊得那么地开心，以后如果再遇到这种状况坚决不带盛夏来了，不然他会被盛夏无视的。夏慕辰在心里暗暗地想道。
““Sparkling“ magazines are beautifully made and close to life， but.....（“闪耀”的杂志每本都很精致漂亮，而且很贴近生活，但是…）”
盛夏看了一眼Jack的脸，发现他并没有什么愤怒的表情，便继续说下去了，“But I always feel that it lacks something， and I don't know exactly what it is.（但是，我总觉得它缺少了一些东西，具体是什么我也不知道。）”
“There is an old saying to you China， called “listen to Jun's words， better than reading ten books，“ sure enough.（你们中国有一句老话，叫做“听君一席话，胜读十年书”，果然不假。）”
Jack紧接着回应了盛夏几句话：“Miss Sheng， although you didn't say what was missing， but our magazine society tried hard to improve it. In addition， do you have any intention of joining our magazine?（盛小姐，虽然你没有说缺少了什么，不过我们杂志社会努力改进的；另外，你有意向加入我们杂志社吗？）”
“Actually i...（其实我…）”
盛夏还没说完，Jack就又说了一句话，“Miss Sheng， I think your ability will not be inferior to those of our magazine. If you join us， the magazine will be better and better.（盛小姐，我觉得你的能力一定不会比我们杂志社的那些人差，如果你加入了我们的话，杂志社一定会越办越好的。）”
